Sephora Rouge / VIB Sale - My Wish List

8:00:00 AM

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us - time for the Fall Sephora VIB Sale! Every year after all the holiday sets are released and everyone is lusting after all the pretty new things, Sephora email/mails out 20% promo codes to VIB and Rouge Members. Rouge members can start using their promo codes today, Friday, November 4th through Monday, November 7th and VIBs can jump in and use their code starting Friday, November 11th through Monday, November 14th. The code for Rouges is 20ROUGE and the code for VIBs is, you guessed it, 20VIB. This is the perfect time to stock up on things that you always repurchase, purchase things that you've been lusting after, and pick up some holiday gifts for your loved ones. Personally, I'm filling my shopping cart up with pretty things that I'm lusting after. I stocked up on a few things last year and I felt that a one or two items sat too long when I pulled them out this year. Specifically my last tube of Tarte's Lights, Camera, Splashes was a little too dry when I opened it up about a month ago... so keep that in mind when you're filling up your cart. But, whatever reasons that you're using to justify purchases don't forget to use ebates because they are offering 4% back for Sephora starting today! Let's get into what I've thrown into my cart in anticipation of this sale!
How cute is the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Mauvember (2016)? This is the limited edition shade that Bite Beauty collaborated with Movember to create and sale exclusively during the month of November to support men's health. Each tube costs $26 and it's the first time that it has been released in the US. All proceeds (about 50% of the purchase price) from selling this gorgeous mauve shade go to the Movember Organization, which uses contributions to fight issues like prostate cancer and testicular cancer. So not only is it adorable (how could you not adore the mustache imprinted in the tube?) and the shade is really pretty, but your money is going to a worthwhile place! Win - win - win! Now is the time to get this before it's gone!
My first memories of makeup are watching my three aunts pull out their caddies full of Clinique's green marbleized packages of face powders, eyeshadows, and lipstick and fight over the bathroom mirror in my Grandparent's old house. Naturally, I gravitated towards Clinique when I was old enough to wear makeup and then year after year I hit all of Clinique's Bonus Time events to stock up. It took me a while to branch out to other brands and I've gradually started wearing less and less of Clinique in favor of other brands. I still have a certain fondness for the brand, though. The Clinique Very Honey Holiday Eye Palette is the limited edition palette for Sephora this year and consists of 13 coordinating shades in berry, rose, and pink tones along with three travel sized brushes that fit into the palette. The palette sells for $32.50.
I was debating picking up a Nars Velvet Lip Glide and saw a swatch of the NARS Sarah Moon Blush in Isadora while I was browsing around and I immediately added it to my cart. It was love at first sight. This shade is limited edition with the rest the Sarah Moon collection and is described as a lavender pink. It appears to have a fine gold sheen also. I really don't feel like I have anything else like this. This blush sells for $30 and is the same size as regular full-sized Nars blush pans.
I was so so excited when I saw that the Sephora Favorites Glow For It Kit - $30 - was back in stock. I had it in my cart in back in October when I first saw it, but then I sat on it too long and it sold out. They even removed it from the site. I'm guessing they brought it back for this sale. The kit contains a deluxe sample of Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter in Champagne (a favorite), a deluxe sample of the Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops in C+ Lemongrass - Radiance, a deluxe sample of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Moonstone (have it and love it), a full size (!) Lancôme Glow Subtil Silky Crème Highlighter in Glowing Lights 06, a deluxe sample of MILK MAKEUP Sunshine Oil, and a deluxe sample size of Hourglass Ambient® Strobe Lighting Powder in Incandescent Strobe Light. This kit probably keeps selling out because the full size of Lancôme Glow Subtil Silky Crème Highlighter is $30 all by itself, so basically the other five items are basically a bonus. I really wanted to either try or have and love everything in this kit. If you spot it in stock, grab it immediately.
I really love Sephora brushes, especially the Pro line, so I'm slowly trying to collect a full kit of them. This time I picked out the SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Small Shadow Brush #15 - $18 and the SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Smoky Liner #24 - $7. I use a small shadow brush pretty much every day, so having a second one will be great. The smoky liner brush I think will work in so many ways. I plan to use it as a pencil brush, on the bottom lash line, as well as it's intended liner function.

I picked up the SEPHORA COLLECTION Mara Hoffman for Sephora Collection: Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm - $11 - late this summer and I actually really liked it. It's a tinted balm that feels really nice and I love the color. It is a really flattering sheer rosy plum. I carried it all through Orlando on vacation last week and it feels really hydrating and lasts for hours. I decided to pick myself up a backup.
Yes, I am still drooling over the Maison Margiela REPLICA Discovery Set For Her - $65. It needs to be purchased - stat!
The NARS Mind Game Velvet Lip Glide Set - $45 - is too cute to ignore. The Velvet Lip Glide is a new formula that promises to be a lipstick hybrid in a semi-matte, long-lasting finish and comfortable wear. I'm dying to try out the formula and this little set of six - including three limited-edition shades unique to the kit - is just the way to do it.

Here's my ultimate dream item to haul - Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer - $399. I have been lemming over this hair dryer since I read about it probably about six months ago. My desire to have this has only increased since it was released and the reviews have been glowing. The price for this baby is so steep that if I could justify the new tool I would definitely use it while I have the 20% off.
